Winning
the "war on terrorism" is like winning
the war on corruption, the war on poverty, the war
on drugs. They all have one thing in common - they
can't be won. To win the war against our enemy's
ideology we must name it. Our failure of imagination
has caused us to stumble in this war against the
enemy with multiple names like Islamicists, Islamists,
Militant Islamists, Militant Islam, jihadists, jihadis,
insurgents, rebels, uprising...and many more.
